Our Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey, and Eternal Destination Pt.3

JOB 1:6-12

6     ¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

7   And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

(The book of Job opens by showing us the existence of another world - a world that is running parallel in another dimension to our world. And how that certain events and decisions that took place in that world would directly influence and affect the events of the things that took place in Job’s world.

8   And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

(God knew that Satan had been secretly studying Job’s life, just like he also studies our lives – because he wants to exploit our weaknesses.)

9   Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10   Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11   But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. (Satan was convinced in his own mind that Job feared God only because of all the material blessings that God had bestowed upon his life and the life of his family, but that suffering would cause Job to curse God – and many people do have the tendency to respond this way of blaming God for their suffering)

12   And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

JOB 23:3-4

3   Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!

4   I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.

Job had not been able to understand the reason why that all of these tragedies had suddenly befallen him along the pathway of his earthly life’s journey.

And so his desire was to go up to God’s house and argue his case before God of how unjust things had become for him in life - because with all Job’s earthly wisdom, he couldn’t connect the dots of his understand to make any sense as to why God had allowed him to come into this great loss and suffering, because it had seemed to be totally unjust and unfair.

And this is that same question that many people struggle with today, and of what humanity has always struggled with of the question of why is there suffering and what is the purpose of it?

**But what Job didn’t realize was that there was another world that was involved in the events that had been taking place in his life.

Our Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey, and Eternal Destination Pt.3

We want to give a brief recap to those who are new to this subject of what we have been speaking on for around 7 weeks now… of this subject of “Unseen Worlds” that has now progressed into the subject of our Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey, and Eternal Destination.

*In Hebrews 11:3 the bible speaks of how that God created the worlds by the power of His spoken word – and not just one world, but many worlds, both seen worlds and unseen worlds.

**In July 1964, Brother Branham preached a message called “The Masterpiece” and he tells us of how that the great statue of Moses had already been existing for millions of years hidden within an unseen world of a big block of marble, until one day a man by the name of Michelangelo was enabled by God to look into that unseen world of that block of marble, and by looking beyond the curtain of time (as we might say), he was able to see the statue of Moses inside of it, and so all he had to do was to chip away and revealed what was already existing in that unseen world – and bring that world over into this world for all of us to see and admire.

**Then there is the story of the Morris chair of what Brother Branham had owned and had had repossessed in this world that we know had already existed in another world before the one in this world had ever come into production - and we know this because he saw a Morris chair over there in that other world that looked the same as the one that was here in this world, and not only did he see it in that other world, but he also sat in it in that other world.

**Then we went into the story of Ahab, because Ahab is a type of the United States of America today. And how that Ahab was setting out to make (America) Israel great again, by wanting to take back Ramoth-Gilead.

And we noticed that one of the characteristics of Ahab was that he had developed a very strong love for attractive looking real estate, especially when it came to vineyards and golf courses.

And another one of Ahab’s characteristics (apart from doing real estate deals) was that he also had a great appreciation for the pretty Jezebel looking types of women.

*And so we know that men die, but the spirits and characteristics that anointed those men of the past don’t die, and so this is why history repeats itself.

**In the message “The Invasion of the Unite States” 1954 - Brother Branham speaks about these lying spirits that were loosed at the time of Ahab upon the influences of that day (of 400 false prophets), and it was these influences that swayed the minds of the people into believing a lie in order for the prophecy of Elijah to come to pass, and so these are the same spirits from that time that have been loosed again upon the influences that are now influencing the minds of the people today.

**Then there were the horsemen with their chariots of fire that Elisha and his servant saw in that unseen world that had gathered around them in Dathon. And we noticed that when these angels fought on behalf of Elisha and his servant, they didn’t defeat the Syrian army with natural swords and by natural bloodshed, but their weapons were spiritual weapons - the weapons of the blindness of the mind in that these angels blinded the eyes of the understanding of the enemy.

**Today there are many scientists that are now beginning to look more and more into these worlds of the unseen, and especially into the world of the quantum (the very small) of where many are now beginning to accept that consciousness is the fundamental of all things, because if you take away consciousness, but you take away the purpose for everything else that exists.

This is why they tell us that consciousness is what affects the collapse of the wave function from a wave to a particle as observed in the double slit light experiment. When your consciousness observes it, then it literally changed from a wave to a particle – this has been tested many times to be true.

**And so this is why that many are beginning to accept that maybe consciousness is the fundamental of all things. Because out of consciousness comes thoughts, and out of thoughts comes information, and out of information comes these quantum fields, and out of quantum fields comes atoms, and atoms make the physical matter of all the things that we can see and touch, but it all began with the thoughts of a conscious mind – of the mind of which ultimately was the mind and thoughts of God.

And this is where you and I have come from – out of the conscious mind and thoughts of God. A part of God’s own consciousness (of His thoughts) is in each of us.

JOB 2:1-4

1     ¶ Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

(Satan had lost the first round with God, because after Satan had obtain permission from God and had done all the evil things to Job, Job had simply responded with the statement –Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”, and so Satan had lost the first “bet” as we would call it)

2   And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? (It’s like God is giving Satan the opportunity to confess his sins) And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. (Satan never seems to get tired of his game of evil)

3   And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. (There was no reaping and sowing cause involved with this situation)

4   And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. (Satan had come up with another strategy that he was now sure would work)

5   But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

(And so God now gives him permission to afflict Job in his flesh – this is the second time that Satan is allowed to attack Job, and after this we don’t see anything more of Satan showing up again to God requesting further afflictions upon Job, but this last blow causes Job, not to curse God, but to curse the day that he was conceive and the day he was born)

JOB 3:1-3

1     ¶ After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day (his birthday).

2   And Job spake, and said,

3   Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

JOB 3:11-13

11    ¶ Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? (The fact was that many babies did die in child birth with complications)

12   Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

13   For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

**Job could only see back as far as his earthly conception and birth into this world, he couldn’t see into the unseen world of the world of where he existed before he came into this world – of his pre-existence in the mind and thoughts of God.

*And so this was a mystery that God wanted to open up to his understanding - of the mystery of his Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey, and Eternal Destination.

*Because before this revelation of his pre-existence was opened to Job, Job could only say, “A man born of a woman is of few of days, and full of trouble (Job 14:1)”.

*Because while he was suffering with this great trial that had befallen his life, the farthest he could go back in his thinking was to his conception and birth that had begun his earthly journey on earth, but when Elihu came (the young man of who is the type of the 7th angel’s ministry of these last days), then things began to change for Job, because immediately after what followed Elihu’s ministry, was the coming of the Lord.

**And so Elihu’s ministry was the forerunner to the Lord Himself that descends down in chapter 38 and begins to open the mystery of Job’s life to Job of where he was before he came to this life.

**And so the Lord tells him “Enough of your talk that is darkening knowledge” - you are talking about a man who is born of a woman, and you are saying that everybody that is born into this world only comes to earth to suffer and then to die, and you are saying that because you can’t see where you came from of where you were before your birth and earthly journey began.”

*And so this is where the Lord then gives Job a shock by saying, “Where did you exist before the world was formed?”

JOB 38:1-4

1     ¶ Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2   Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3   Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4     ¶ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. (In other words, you tell me what world did you existed in before you came into this world - declare, if thou hast understanding?

*Job had had no understanding of his previous existence - but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, the mystery of your pre-existence and your earthly journey and your eternal destination would be opened up before our wondering eyes.

***And so God begins to reveal to Job that before his birth on earth through mom and dad, that he had already lived and existed before in a living form of a pre-existence state in the mind of God, and so because of this, there was no way that the death of his human body could destroy that eternal part of who he really was – of his consciousness.

*And even though death would one day strike it’s sting upon his earthly human body, yet because he was an eternal attribute of God, he knew that God would raise him up to life again in an everlasting body and an eternal destination and home, because God was not only the great creator, but He was also the great Redeemer.

**And so this is the same revelation that has been opened up to us in our day by the opening of the seven seals.

****And this is why that God was showing Brother Branham about “Who is This Melchisedec” in this day, because the same God that had appeared to Job after his suffering has also appeared to us at this end time age after 6000 years of man’s suffering on the earth.

**And so we can see this pattern of our Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey, and Eternal Destination being revealed in the book of Job, and this is also shown to us in the story of Joseph’s life’s journey, from his father’s house, to Potiphar’ house, and then finally to Pharaoh’s house with his family all living together happily ever after for the rest of eternity.

The same pattern applies in the book of Ruth and also with Esther – at the end of their lives, they all lived “happily ever after” because it was all about the story of redemption.

*When Brother Branham finally arrives at the last sermon of what he would preach on earth (“Communion” 12th of December 1965), we notice that he speaks about this subject of his pre-existence.

COMMUNION_ TUCSON.AZ V-8 N-4 SUNDAY_ 65-1212

44   Like in the Book here, and the spot there we was talking about the--the two Books being One, the Book of Life. The first Book of life coming up, was when you were born, that was your natural birth. See? But then one time, way back down in there, there was a little grain of Life as I was explaining to some of the young sisters at the house this afternoon. See, there's a little grain of Life laying there, that you wonder, "Where did It come from? What--what these strange things?"

45   I was saying this, taking for myself, like you was going to say, "William Branham, well, forty years ago, the William Branham, it isn't the same one tonight." If somebody back there would say, "William Branham, he was a rank rascal," see, because I was born of Charles and Ella Branham. In their nature I was a sinner, I came to the world, a liar, and all the habits of the world laid right in me. But down in there, too, was another Nature present, see, predestinated, was in there by God. In this same body, see, two natures in there.

46   Well, I only catered to one. As it growed, I gooed as a baby, "Dad-da." First thing you know, I become a liar, become everything else that's a sinner, because I raised up that way. But down in there was a little speck of Life all the time.

48…Where'd you come from?"

49   What was it? There was another William Branham. See? A little spot of Eternal Life down there, from the--the--the genes of God, the Word of God that was placed in there. Each one of you can think of similar things. See, It was working.

50   Then look up to the trees, and I think, "Leaf, I seen you fall off last year, and why are you back there again? Where'd you come from? What brought you here?" See, It was that Eternal Life working in the body.

51   Now, then one day as I walked on, that Voice talking, "Don't never smoke, drink, so forth." And the young fellows and all got older. See, there was Something moving.

52   But yet all at once I looked up, and I said, "I'm not the son of Charles and Ella Branham. There's Something calling." Like my little eagle, "I'm not a chicken. There's Something up yonder, somewhere. O Great Jehovah, Whoever You are, open up! I want to come home. There's Something in me, calling."

53   Then I was born again. That little Life was laying there, the life of water was poured upon It, then It begin to grow. Now, that old life was forgiven, put in the sea of God's forgetfulness, to never be remembered against me no more. See? Now we stand justified (as though we never had sinned) in the Presence of God.
