The Healing of the Soul
JOHN 4:7-14
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water (Notice how that she is drawing water out of the necessity of natural life, because you simply cannot live without water. And we are all familiar with the back story to this woman’s life of how that her life had been messed up with 5 broken relationships of previous husbands, and her current “husband” was not even her own, and so her entire life was in great need of healing – and so it was not that she needed healing in a physical way as if she had had some bodily ailment or sickness, but she needed healing at a deeper level. And so we want to notice how Jesus deals with this woman’s problem, because He is going to take her from the outer realm, right down to where her soul lays): Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (Notice – two kinds of water are being spoken of here. First there is the natural chemical water called H2O that your body drinks in order to live, but then there is a different type of water of what Jesus calls “living water”, of which is a special type of water that your soul requires in order to live)
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: (Natural water - you have to constantly keep drinking it if you want to keep your natural body alive)
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst (Jesus is paralleling the need of the body for natural water with the need of the human soul that requires this spiritual water of which is the spiritual truth of the word of God); but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
What was this water that she was given by Jesus of which she would never spiritually thirst again?? It was the revelation of who He was for that hour.
PSALM 147:3
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
How did Jesus bring healing to this women’s broken heart at the well? He did it by the revealing of Himself to her at the level of her soul. And so the answer to her broken and messed up life was the healing of her soul by the revealing of a person.
The Healing of the Soul
**When we think of this subject of healing, (and God is the only healer), we know that there are three realms of where God provides healing for of which is the body realm, and then the spirit realm of which are the thoughts of our minds, and then the soul realm of which is the nature of our spirit - our character. Because it’s our character that motivates what we think.
*And we notice that as the message unfolded from 1947- 1965, that it began with the first pull of which was the sign in the hand representing how that God began by dealing with the healing of the body (the outer realm of man).
*Then after that came the second pull of the revealing of the secrets of the hearts to deal with healing at a deeper level of the spirit realm of man’s thoughts.
*But then lastly there came a third pull of the opening of the word of the revealing of a person in this hour, like of what we saw with the women at the well of which God would cause the opening of the word personally to her to deal with the healing of her soul.
*And this is why we so often fail when we try to fix things in the spirit realm of which is problem that is deeper down in the soul realm, because the soul realm requires a deeper work of God of which God has provided a way for the healing of the soul in this hour – by the revelation of Himself, of whom is the living water Himself.

44 And we believe that doctors help people. I believe that God heals by medicine. God heals by surgery. God heals by understanding. God heals by love. Just a little love goes a long way. Let somebody be all upset, and just show them you care for them. See? God heals by love. God heals by prayer. God heals by miracles. God heals by His Word. God heals! Whatever source it is, God heals by it. It's God that heals, for He said, "I'm the Lord that healeth all thy diseases."
*And so God has provided many ways of healing for the body of when it becomes sick or injured in some way, and so God does not always choose to use miracles to bring healing to people as we would often like Him to.
If you cut yourself in some way, then you just accept that God has provided a way for that to be healed if you will just be patient.
*But then there is also a healing that God has designed for the spirit and the soul of those who are wounded in their spirits of the “broken hearted” as we have read – and that can take time also.
*Sickness in any form is simply a perversion from the perfection of what God intended for us to be at the beginning.
*In the beginning, God made us to always live in the perfection of perfect health of body, spirit and soul, but sickness and death entered in by the sin of when the soul of man first began to disbelieve the word of God.
III JOHN 1:2
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
**Sickness of the soul is when the soul disbelieves the word of God and puts its confidence in the reasoning of the spirit of the mind.
*It’s when a person is governed and lead by the reasoning ability of the thoughts of their own mind or the thoughts of someone else that is contrary to the word, instead of putting their trust in the word of God, and this is where Eve failed, and of which humanity has failed ever since.
And so in order to bring healing to the soul, it takes the restoration of the word of truth to be restored back to the soul again of a revelation and a faith in the word of God. And so the healing of the soul comes by the revealing and by the restoration of the word.

E-11 …And the healing of the soul is always first. Why, when a man is borned again of the Spirit of God, he has immortal, Eternal Life, and shall never perish.
But when a man is healed of his body, it is just for a limited time. But salvation of the soul is forever. He becomes a new creature in Christ when he's healed of his soul.
We know that Adam in his original form in the Garden of Eden could never have been deceived because his soul had the very nature and spirit of God in it, and so the default state of Adam’s soul was that it automatically repelled all unbelief of the word of God.
*Adam’s soul in its perfect state of the way that God had made it could never accept or allow his thoughts to agree with anything that wasn’t truth – in other words, it caused him to be repellent to anything that wasn’t absolute truth, just like a heathy body is meant to be repellent to all diseases.
And so Adam’s body could never have become sick because his soul could not be deceived, and so the spirit of his mind could therefore never be bent out of shape by some fake news or lie that someone told on CNN or FOX news or some false interpretation of the word of God, because in his soul was the very spirit and nature of God Himself that could discern all things, like what we saw with the wisdom of Solomon – no one could pull the wool over Solomon’s eyes because of the spirit of God that was upon him .
**And so when we are talking about the healing of your soul, it is connected to the restoration back to of what God meant for you to be in the great plan of His original thoughts. And this end time message is what has made a way for the reality of what Adam fell from in Eden to be restored back to the Human race again.
EPHESIANS 1:9-11
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(The mystery of His will is to heal your wounded and broken spirit of what this earthly journey has scared you up with. The opening of the word in these last days is for the purpose of bringing us into a full realization that there is a great future of an eternal life of blessing and prosperity waiting for you of an inheritance of which God has determined for you according to His good pleasure – this is the mystery of His will concerning your life that He is wanting to make known to you personally in this hour.)
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance (an inheritance is something that you didn’t earn yourself, it’s something that someone ease has earnt on your behalf, but is then passed on to you as an inheritance), being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
* God originally designed a human soul in the exact image of His own divine nature – in all the rest of the animal kingdom, God was only revealing a portion of His great nature as he unfolded the great revelation of Himself of who He was of His character.
He showed how that He was a king in the nature of the lion. And he showed how that he was a prophet in the characteristics of the eagle. And He showed how He was like an Ox in the way that an Ox can pull a heavy load.
Each specie is showing us a different part of the one great nature of God – and this is why it takes thousands of species to show the one Great character and nature of the one God.
**But when it came to man, all of the nature of God was to be reflected in man. This is why God is looking to see the attributes of Himself being reflected through your life, and so he has to keep beating on the gold until he can eventually see His own image reflecting back at Him.
**And this was what Adam fell away from in Eden, he fell from having God’s character and nature dwelling in him, to a nature that had fallen away from the perfection of its original state – a nature that had developed a sickness and that needed healing.
*And so from that time on since the fall in Eden, mankind has been plagued with a character and a nature that is in need of healing in order for it to be restored back to its original state of full health.
**And so this paints to us a picture of the perfection of what God has ordain for the healing of the soul and for the purpose of your life here on earth and of what your end is to be.
*Because your origin reveals your destiny, because where we came from is where you are going back to again – that is what the plan of redemption is all about.
*And so because we fell from this perfect nature of the character of God dwelling inside of us, then we know that by the great redemptive plan of God, that God has made a way for us to go back into that state again, like the little dew drop that goes back to where it came from in the beginning.

E-27 You notice of a morning when the--the dew... I've watched it many times, when I see the dew fall at night time. Look out there, see the dew fall. And every time when the sun comes up, did you ever notice how happy a little dew drop was? He just sparkles and shines, and sparkles and shines. I was asking one, one morning, talking to nature, which is--was my first Bible. I said, "What makes you sparkle, little dew drop?"
And it seemed like that something in a way spoke back to me, said, "You know last night, I was up there. And I'm--I know I'm going up again, for I belong up there, way beyond this old hot earth, up there where the--the moisture stays. And I was once up there, and I'm happy because the suns a shining on me, and when the sun shines on me, it's making--it'll draw me right up to where I was."
The shining sun is the proof that the dew drop will soon return to where it came from. That was the revelation that the dew drop held within his heart.
*And so we want to look at this subject of “The Healing of the Soul” in the light of the scriptures and the message of this hour, because we read in Malachi 4 that there would be an end time ministry would come with healing in his wings.
